Working On A New Drawing/Painting

It’s Friday night and I am working on the next drawing and painting for my Valentine’s Day series. This is my fifth painting in this series. I completed the fourth painting a couple of days ago but I am yet to share it here in this blog. Here is the outline of the latest painting:

It’s quite detailed and to be honest I am not quite sure how it will turn out. But I am not going to be so concerned about the outcome and just have fun with it 😉

Apart from working on this painting I also submitted my application to join Homesteaders Co-op. I mentioned this new marketplace for handmade, sustainable, homegrown and ethically sourced products several days ago in a post. Now we all have heard of Etsy and this site works like Etsy BUT with some key differences, i.e vendors accept payment in USD, Steem or Steem Back Dollar (cryptocurrency). There are no middleman fees (listing fees etc) and all sales go directly to vendors. I am pretty excited about this site but I am not sure whether I am qualified to become a vendor. I am just trying my luck, who knows! 😉

Another exciting thing I did today was to sign up with I am a book lover but being a nomad it’s hard to keep so many books with me. I used to have a large collection of books but they became a big problem whenever we have to move elsewhere. So, I haven’t much choice but to read ebooks though I prefer real books to read and hold. I bought ebooks mainly from Kobo and CBD. I am very happy that Scribd is offering a premium service for $8.99/month (MYR 37.04) and I can read whatever I want as long as I pay my subscription that I can cancel anytime. Sounds sweet to me 🙂

That’s all my update for today 😉

I am selling some of my paintings over on Artfinder. Shipping is FREE worldwide. You can check them out here: ARTFINDER. My gifts & merchandise available at SOCIETY6REDBUBBLE and CREATIVE UNITED
